Get ready to DASH!

The DASH! is an inspirational athletics event for primary and secondary school children. Running in three locations, Sedgefield, Durham City and Bishop Auckland.

The annual event promotes sport and physical activity as a positive lifestyle choice for children and their families, and is recognised as one of the best young people’s sporting events in the North East of England.

On the registration you will have the option to enter two teams per school for the road races & the field events, but this will be dependant on entry numbers.

Teams will consist of 1 Girl & 1 Boy from:

Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

Road Races: 550m race from Market Place finishing on Place Green

Field Events: Chest Push, Speed Bounce, Long Jump, and one other TBC

Spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.  This is just the initial sign up, we will send you a link to submit your team names etc closer to the time.

Registration for this event will close 3rd May 2022 @ 12.00pm
