The competition team has been working on how we can support your school taking into account the social distancing guidelines stopping children from attending events outside of their own school. We have decided to offer all schools the opportunity to book 1 half day session where the competition team will instead come into your school and deliver a virtual competition to your children.

As a team will be able to accommodate up to 35 children per session. This could be a group of 35 for the first hour/sport and another group of up to 35 for the second hour/sport.

Please note we have taken all safety aspects into account and will adapt the sessions to take into account the social distancing guidelines

We have selected several sports for your school to choose from “please see option below”

How the Virtual Competitions work

The idea behind them being a Virtual Competition, is that we will collate results and award winners in each school and also the winning school will receive awards (medals and certificates).

Intra School Competition

One of the activities allows the pupils at your school to compete against each other. We will record the scores achieved by every participating pupil and reveal the winning score at the end of the session.

Inter School Competition

One of the activities allows pupils from your school to create their own School’s score. They will be competing against other schools from the Partnership. We will record the scores achieved by your pupils in the session, then compare this to the scores from other schools. At the end of Summer, we will reveal to the winning school from across the SSP.
