Year 5/6 Athletics Competition – CLS SCHOOLS ONLY

All events will have separate boys and girls categories.
Field Events; Turbo Javelin / Shot Putt (600g) / Long Jump (with a run up) / Standing Triple Jump
Track Events; 60m sprint / 80m sprint / 60m hurdles (SAQ hurdles) / 800m run / 4 x 100m circular relay (4 pupils with baton changeover)
Each child can take part in a maximum of 1 track event, 1 field event, and a relay. Bearing this in mind, teams should consist of somewhere between 4-12 boys and 4-12 girls from Year5/6. You must have at least 4 boys and 4 girls in each team to be able to compete.
Team Information
- Schools can enter 1 team each
- A team sheet should be completed for each team, and sent to Leanne.k@durhamcls-ssp.org by 18th May.
- A team sheet will be emailed to you once you have booked on to the event.
